Unnecessarily public complaint:
Had to wait in a a doctor's office today for almost two hours because Whitney Houston was late. I also had to listen to Matchbox Twenty, etc. while I waited, and hear Whitney Houston stomping around in the halls like a crazy person.
Then the doctor (who is very quick with the jokes) stuck a camera down my nose, into my throat and... guhhh, out my mouth.
It was like the magic school bus, but I was inside my own body, kind of twisted. Also, I am happy to report that the inside of my throat looks like something from Alien.

My dad saved this puppy this morning, it was up on our mountain stuck between some really large rocks, immobilized, and yelping. The vet said she was surprised he was alive. So I've been having some pretty weirdo bad dreams lately. One where I was ice skating with Woody Allen and I opened a closet holding a baby bear who began to cry and mama bear hunted me down after which I whispered dirty things into Woody Allen's ear. One where I was being chased by a huge rat, a possum rat, and I slammed the door to get away from it, but the head got stuck in the door with a broken neck looking me in the eyes all crooked like. Fuck.
Tonight I listened to my Grandma tell me all about how she was all about Bing Crosby and in love with his nephew, and when she finally met Bing he was all crunk in the head. And how her bathing suit fell off at his house. She's way funny.
Uhhhhhhm, so I was just in LA for a long while, but I never get anything done anymore in the anymore. I have been house hunting, I want to live in Angelino Heights. I am getting surgery in December and going to New York whoop!!

Last night was really weird. Earlier in the night, I went to a Robert Colescott opening, which had tons of really good free food and wine. This is me procrastinating to pack, when I leave tomorrow, by the way. So, that was pretty weird. Carlos Villa gave me the absolute best hug of my life. I love him so much, I will never have a hug of that caliber again. Leigha and I tried to go to see Silver Apples, but it was sold out, so we went to some weirdo bars. It was a heavily drunken night. Lots of falling. I fell on some drug dealer homeless guy who proceeded to offer to sell me drugs. I also poured beer all over Leigha, which is really something that I would never do, but it was really fun, and great music (1984) and good dancing and free drinks and free admission, I love free things!!!!! FREEDOM!!!!! Freedom and jock rock!!!! Today though, was the most beautiful day. I had a dream that I was looking out the window and there was a Donkey farm. And I was thinking to myself "This donkey farm would be so much more charming if it were in England" (I miss England) and then I was having an aerial panning of these two dogs running through cattle fields. But, woke up, went to get iced tea and lemonade at Dolores Park cafe. Everyone was doing this thing that they paid for meter spaces, and had little parties, it was park day or something, it made me really happy, people with sod and croquet. One of those, people were giving away things for free, and while Leigha was in the bank, Will and I got this free lion, cutest thing ever, because Leigha had told us a story that when she was young she ran around a corner and there was a caged in lion looking her in the eye, and she proceeded to stare into the soul of this lion and visa versa. So we had a lion for her when she came around the corner, we named him León, he's a real cutie. Ate falafel. Still eating falafel. Really nice weather. Beautiful day.

I saw Animal Collective last night at the Fillmore. It was pretty rad.
I've always thought that they play weird shows (which they do).
Once they were playing, I started feeling really tall. Their next album will be really good. They played a Panda Bear song too, or one that I had heard him play before at least, it's so pretty, about his baby. I think he is a god (but a god with flaws [I think] [not to mention, really good looking]).
Not to sound stupid, but I felt my soul, like, lifting out of my body at one point. But I seriously think they sound weird live and I never have any idea what to do except gawk. Too bad Deakin wasn't playing, he is way good looking as well. & it was a little odd to see them not playing instruments so much. I would usually think that that would negate/conflict with the whole out of body experience thing, but they've really got something, those fellas. I am moving out of San Francisco in a couple days.
